Simone Greasley
HR practitioner, Consultant and Trainer
Overview
Simone is a highly experienced professional HR practitioner, consultant and trainer; designing and delivering HR, Customer Care and Leadership and Management interventions to “Blue Chip” companies and SME’s across the UK. Simone is particularly skilled in the auditing of existing HR practices throughout client businesses, subsequently assisting in the development of a robust HR strategy that supports the attainment of organisational goals. She can also provide appropriate consultancy, training and coaching support to ensure the delivery of that strategy if required.
Expertise
Simone's expertise includes recruitment strategy and the design of bespoke learning and development interventions from HR Webinars through to Career Transition programmes. She also has expert knowledge in advising on UK & EU Employment Law, the development of HR policies and contractual documents, designing Talent Acquisition programmes and implementing accreditation standards such as Investors in Excellence and IIP. She also has a passion for customer service and helping people with presentation and communication skills.
Simone is heavily involved in the continual development and delivery of the CMBD Level 3 First Line Management courses and is the specialist HR tutor on the Level 7 (Master’s Degree level) CMBD programme. She is also a tutor at The University of Nottingham/CMBD Business & Leadership Summer Management Schools.
Experience
As a registered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, Simone established her own HR Consultancy practice eighteen years ago providing practical “hands-on” HR and learning & development support to many businesses across the UK.
Her commercial experience includes working for the BBC World Service in London, being part of the HR set-up team when Toyota established their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the UK and taking the responsibility for the recruitment for and the operational establishment of a major business support organisation in the East Midlands.
